Mitt Romney identity

I was honored to participate in creating the identity for 2008 U.S. Presidential Republican elect candidate, and former Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney. According to Wikipedia, “Romney is widely seen as a front-runner for the Republican nomination in the 2012 Presidential election.” Go Mitt!

Sign of life

I am proud to be included in the most recent LogoLounge Master Series, Initial Crest Logos for a mark I did for a small, client focused, brand team within a larger agency of similar planetary themed teams. This mark was for the MARS team.

Worth Reporting

I recently designed a new identity system and d-mail series as a favor for my photographer friend, Heath Robbins. It received an honorable mention in the PDN photo self-promo awards. I focused on the uniqueness of his initials to create a focus for his food and lifestyle photography with each piece using a play on words ending in “H” and beginning with “R”. For example: LUNCH RUN or HIGH ROLLER. Heath was pleased with the results and the reaction it received from his clientele. The concept extended into a contest for “HR” phrases that attracted more than 500 entries, and a host of new website traffic.

Silk Purse

I recently took advantage of an event at the office to design some internal posters around the first annual ”Pigs and Pinot” gathering.
It’s exactly what it sounds like, everyone brought a pork dish and a bottle of wine. Chocolate is good, bacon is good, chocolate bacon is delicious.

G-Pa G-raffe

Here is a print I recently finished for my soon to be first grandson, Jude Oliver Stewart. Josh and Bre wanted a Giraffe theme for Jude’s room. Hope he likes it?

Sprite...aiiight.

I stumbled across this vintage Sprite illustration from the 1960’s and had to post it. I love that it’s just two colors and check out that cool texture. Spring-a-Ling.
